True to his name, Ralph wrecks stuff: buildings, landscapes, vehicles, objects, stadium seating; you name it. During game-play, Ralph gets thrown off a roof. A videogame baddie talks about crushing a skull like a sparrow egg between his thighs. A videogame character pulls a beating heart out of a zombie's chest. Theft, property damage (intentional and accidental). Dangerous driving. Dying in game-play is discussed. Skulls & crossbones are seen. Smashed glass. Arcade game features lots of shooting with futuristic weapons; many Cy-Bugs are shot. Cy-Bugs are zapped by a giant beam. Characters are slapped, punched, kicked, whacked, beaten with police batons. A wedding is interrupted by invaders; groom is eaten. Character covered in icing resembles a swamp monster. Game characters are scattered across the ground when their stadium seating is demolished. A group of bullies smash a racing car. A man is hit several times by a racing kart and a stalactite. A man demolishes a girl's prize possession while she pleads for him to stop. Yelling, raised voices. A man is 'mixed' by a cake-mixer. A man receives burns from splashes of hot lava. People and objects are thrown, catapulted. Visual implication that a girl is destroyed. Killing, execution (mentioned). A baddie tries to force a character to watch his friend die. A man receives an electric shock. Blood/gore: Game characters "die" then reset back to life. Green blood bursts out of Cy-Bugs when shot. Bruising, swelling, missing teeth.

    Alcohol (beer, wine, cocktails).

Name-calling, teasing, derogatory and mocking insults, mimicking. Pee-pee, soiling underwear (mentioned). Main character says "I hate you".

Good guys/bad guys, homelessness, rejection, self-acceptance, exclusion, bullying, favouritism, xenophobia, depression, being misunderstood, wanting to prove yourself.

Fireworks. Pant-wetting, puke, vomit (mentioned). Spitting, licking. Cockroach, thousands of robotic bugs. Q*bert language is briefly spoken. An out-of-control aircraft (escape pod) spins and crashes. A character speaks with a lisp. Halitosis. Explosions. A girl talks of being "a mistake".

80s-era arcade games and 8-bit animation. Plenty of heart. Meticulous attention to detail. Stunning visuals. Sweetly humorous, witty, nostalgic. Great use of soundtrack. Wreckommended for the whole family.
