A man falls from a shipping container; he is dragged inside and (presumably) eaten alive. Dinosaurs are shot, tasered. A dinosaur crushes a car with two children trapped inside. Rushing mud threatens to drown two children. A car falls over a high wall (a child is trapped inside). A dinosaur eats a man sitting on a toilet. A dinosaur is kicked. People fall to the ground, crashing heavily. A man hits his head on a low beam. A man hits his head on a car. Screaming. Shooting with shotguns and rifles. Blood/gore: A man demonstrates on a child how a dinosaur might eviscerate its prey. Being eaten alive (discussed). Live animals (a bull and a goat) are fed to dinosaurs (animal screams, blood, and dismembered flesh are seen). Lots of bloody cuts, scratches, wounds. A dismembered human limb. Acid is spat in a man's face. Dinosaurs eat people and other dinosaurs.

A bikini-clad woman is seen on a computer screensaver.

Alcohol (champagne, a man drinks from a hip flask). Smoking (cigarettes). Morphine mentioned.

    S-words, sonofab*tch, crap, name-calling, religious exclamations.

Darwinism, evolution, archaeology, technophobia, fossilisation, hunting, survival, paleobotany, DNA sequencing, virtual reality, messing with nature, playing God, isolation, genetic power, cynicism, fantasy, instinct, theft, deception, justice, abandonment, computer hacking.

Helicopter travel. Laboratory setting. Remote island setting. Tropical storm brings thunder, lightning, heavy rain, crashing waves. Enormous mound of dinosaur poo. A dinosaur sneezes snot into a girl's face. Loud roars, screaming. A man pretends to be electrocuted. Mouth-to-mouth resuscitation is performed. A dog, goat, bull, snake and birds are seen.

Realism of dinosaurs is awe-inspiring. Genuine sense of terror and alarm when dinosaurs attack. Suspenseful.

Pedestrian storyline. Thin characterisation. Silly sub-plots. Average screenplay.
