  • CRITICS LIKE:

A charming Disney interpretation of the classic Arabian Nights tale. Robin Williams is hilarious as the genie in the lamp. The narrative is colourful and well-paced. Memorable soundtrack.

  • CRITICS DON'T LIKE:

Middle-eastern setting is heavy with cliches and racial stereotypes. Pairing of Aladdin and Jasmine lacks chemistry. Some elements are surprisingly scary.
