    A flashback/speculation sequence shows people being shot, bludgeoned, beaten, begging for their lives, etc. People are kicked, punched, pushed, wrestled, dragged behind a horse, hit with objects, threatened, blackmailed, framed, pranked, sprayed with paint, slapped, shirt-grabbed, arrested, headbutted, strangled, stapled, stomped on, elbowed, flipped, slammed against objects, tackled, head-slammed, throat-grabbed, bitten, ear-grabbed, neck-grabbed, sprayed with fire extinguishing agent, slammed against a car windscreen. A woman makes several throat/face-slitting gestures. Teens watch a documentary about the Civil War where commentary mentions "lost a leg and an arm", "amputate his son's leg".     Watchable. Capable/game/charismatic cast, some funny/unexpected moments, unhinged performance by Charlie Day, improves toward the end, had the potential for a better comedy.
