  • CRITICS LIKE:

Propulsive, crisp, efficient, elegant, fan-pleasing, character-driven, ultimate, great, compelling, grown-up, near-perfect, mainstream, crackerjack, satisfying, indulgent, fun, epic, exciting, giddy, gargantuan, mature, substantive, bright, creative, insightful, affecting. Colossal cast of characters, Chris Evans is superb as Steve Rogers, sympathetic performance by Robert Downey Jr, scene-stealing performance by Tom Holland, miraculously juggles multiple characters, joyous new characters/cameos, smart/spare story, no grandstanding supervillain plot, inventive/fun airport scene, generally well-paced, Marvel's finest hour so far.

  • CRITICS DON'T LIKE:

Overstuffed. Sprawling running time, not particularly innovative, one too many plot swerves, unnecessary romantic sub-plot.
